Fanwood PD promoted three officers, Thomas Chisholm, Ryan Gilmore and Daniel Piccola, to the rank of sergeant. Chisholm and Gilmore are currently assigned to the patrol division, while Piccola is appointed to the investigation division.
Chisholm attended the Union County Police Academy before joining the department in 2012. Gilmore graduated from the Somerset Police Academy and joined the department in 2012, as well. Piccola started with the department as a dispatcher, previously dispatching for Union County Communications, and was hired by Fanwood PD in 2015.
