After two years of negotiations and mediation sessions, Federal Law Enforcement Local 385 Federal Reserve Police of NY/NJ members experienced an unprecedented achievement. On Sept. 6, the first collective bargaining agreement was signed between the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Local 385.
Local 385 State Delegate Justin Dasilva, President Chris Onorato and Vice President George McCann unionized the LEU Department of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. They then wrote the first set of Local 385 bylaws for the record and completed, from conception to signing, the first collective bargaining agreement of federal law enforcement officers in the Federal Reserve System.
