In a socially distanced meeting of the borough council on July 27, Point Pleasant Borough Local 158 members Christopher Leonhardt and Loren MacIver were promoted to lieutenant and sergeant, respectively.
Leonhardt and MacIver are highly dedicated to police work, as well as their families and community. Having both men join the ranks of the department’s leadership is an extreme asset to the team in Point Pleasant, according to Mayor Robert Sabosik.
Friends and family in attendance, as well as Local 158 members, are excited to see what the lieutenant and sergeant will bring to their new roles.
